I remember this being a great sci-fi/action flick when it came out. Not sure if it's aged well, but maybe it's time for a rewatch.

This is JCVD's best movie and most profitable one. You could argue Bloodsport was just as good, but this one was great.

People are buying physical media now because they are starting to realize that digital only copies are just a license for the material. That license can be revoked if the hosting streaming company cannot renegotiate the cost of that movie license. Also, people need to realize that the streaming version of a movie is so compressed because storage and streaming have costs. Once you own physical media, you do not have to worry about licensing issues and the viewing experience will be superior to that of a compressed stream.

And just as an FYI, Sony will be eliminating not only physical media for movies and games for consoles, they are even eliminating digital movie copies purchased from their services.
