Tempting, I've been looking for a shoe like this. People wear running shoes all day with those narrow toe boxes and wonder why they get foot pain

the shape is similar to Hoka, anyone know if this a dup of the Bondi 8?

Are these considered wide(2E) or x-wide(4E)?

I hate companies that put small yellow text on the sole. They apparently want to appear like they are knocking off Vibram.

I know very little about Nortiv8, despite being ridiculously addicted to reading running shoe subject matter, but I can assure you that this is not like the Bondi 8. For starters, it's a trail shoe, and although reviews seem to indicate that it's more road-to-trail than truly for technical terrain, the Bondi is decidedly a road shoe.

The Bondi 8 also has a tapered toe box that is not friendly to wider forefeet. The Nortiv 8 trail shoe is specifically designed with a wider toe box to accommodate a more natural foot splay, a la Altra.

In general, Nortiv has a reputation for good value in extremely budget-friendly shoes. I'd probably try them over the lower-end trail offerings of many of the major running shoe brands. But if you're looking for a Bondi alternative, this probably isn't the one.

Uh, yes? Thanks for stating the fact I was presenting? Vibram started doing that in 1967. Waiting for you to find 1966 with yellow writing on the soles. 💀

I bought a pair yesterday. I did some research on this brand and seems like their shoes have good reviews on Amazon.

I've had mixed results with nortiv brand. I had a pair of boots I loved but then a pair of hiking shoes I hated.

While these have a wide toe, is the rest of the shoe sized right? Do we need to size up or down?
