The biggest issue with these is that these are cotton blend, not polyester or nylon, so they will get wet and stay wet a lot longer if working out or out and about in humid conditions. Sadly, nobody really seems to make a good, versatile men's performance bike short with good compression anymore. Under Armour's "Compression shorts" leave a lot to be desired. They are too short, IMO, don't fit right, and and looks like underwear, which is, I guess okay, since I always wear them as a base-layer, but they don't have nearly the compression, stretch and comfort that spandex/compression stuff did back in the 80's/90's/early 2000's. Anything with less than 18% Lycra/Spandex is worthless, IMO. I once had a pair of old spandex (not padded) shorts that had like 25% Lycra and they were amazing for stretch/compression and comfort. I guess it's just too expensive to make the good stuff anymore. They lasted 15+ years since I washed warm, then dried on delicate/low temp. Wish I had bought more and stored them for future use. Had no idea they would stop making them.
