I received the first shipment and only the first shipment. I cancelled upon receipt because of bad reviews stating that dogs were getting sick. Many instances of owners bringing their dogs to the vet.

Google it and check reddit.

I threw my shipment out. Should've looked into the company and their dog food first.

It's called a transition period, when you switch your dog's diet it's normal for them to have some digestive upset.

Our dogs have been on farmers dog for at least 3 years and been absolutely fine. Results may obviously vary

This food has no more fat than any other dog food - it's all AAFCO standards, which every company follows. Just because there is a class action lawsuit, doesn't mean it has any merit. If you read the lawsuit it's literally being put forth by some random person, whose dog never got sick or anything, because they don't understand nutrition.

Our dog loved this food and didn't get sick. Was on it for years.
FYI - Gave her slightly smaller proportion than they recommended. We got a 25 lb dog and they recommended 1/4 of a bag per meal. When we gave her 1/4 her weight was going up. So we cut back and use 1/5 to 1/6 of a bag per meal and weight stabilized.

Just switched to HelloFresh's version since it feels like you gotta switch brands every year to get a discount 🤣

I followed the transition instructions to the letter. I called them when my dog's diarrhea just got worse and worse and followed their alternate transition instructions. When my dog started shitting blood, went back to his regular food, all stomach problems cleared up. Did Farmer's Dog refund the cost of my first shipment? They did not. I paid for the privilege of giving my dog bloody diarrhea (and also for the pleasure of him diarrheaing three times inside on my rugs because he couldn't control the liquid coming out of him).

Think it's good quality based on experience with my dog, but it's expensive. Very steep discount for 1st time, but normal price is untenable for most people imo. Would recommend placing the largest order you can at the discount price
