This things are totally useless in mosquito control (they add to the population) and kill ton's of beneficial insects. Wish these would cease to exist.

I have a similar indoor zapper to the one posted here at the backyard entrance to my basement, on a timer that starts at 8pm and goes off at 11pm, essentially an hour before dusk to remain on for 3 hours. Had it going for about 3 years now, around the end of Covid.
It works wonders for keeping the whole "bug ecosystem" shut down in my basement. No flying creatures at all, and because of that, no spiders or spider webs to clear out, and with no bugs at all, no rodents or other pests at all. And what's good for the basement, is good for the entire house above it.

This is also an indoor bug zapper - not meant to be placed in the yard so it will attract only the bugs inside one's home.
One thing I learned working in a commercial bakery who used a giant bug zapper... Be aware of where you put these and the bigger, jucier bugs it might "zap". Because they will splatter all over the surrounding area(s). Not only does it sound gross (it is), but it smells even worse.
