It has some liquid that you freeze, we usually put it in a lunchpack and it stays cool for 6-7hrs easily.

This is the regular price, it's a good price and work great for kids lunchbox or small cooler. 2 in the lunchbox and they are still very cold when they come home. Small coolers we will throw all 4 in or more around all the drinks etc and works great. For the price it can't be beat

I have some of the blue, I use 3 in my lunch bag to keep things pretty cold by end of day (so I have something cold to drink on the way home, which can take an hour or more if traffic is bad). I like the smaller size vs one bigger one as it's easier to fit around items in my lunch bag.

I bought 4 the other day and 8 more today. I have 2 smallish coolers, one is an 18 qt that I typically put 9 cans in, and fill the rest with ice. Hoping 12 of those is enough to keep 9 cans cold all day and save me from having to keep buying $3 bags of ice

You know it's slick? A frozen water bottle. Then in the end you don't have something you need to lug around, you have a bottle of water.

That is great, but gel-based ice packs last a lot longer than water alone for the same volume.

In my lunch box I use both a frozen water bottle and a gel ice pack. Two frozen water bottles don't last long enough, but one frozen water bottle and a gel ice pack do it.

Good to know. I always just uses water bottles but using both makes sense
