On the microcenter page it does say it comes with a 2 year warranty though.

At 0.50 kwh, 12 hours a day of average use, the 9070 xt uses $180 more per year. I've had the 4070S for 2 years now which is $360 saved, one more year and it pays for itself.

9070 draws 50% more power on idle than a 4070S and a bit more during load. So the 4070S works for me. Especially at the time of GPU shortages in 2024, my friend hooked me up for $500, so it was a no brainer.
They both have their pros and cons.
Isn't the non-XT 9070 power efficient? As a gamer who is concerned about power consumption with my CPU and GPU, I was considering a 9070 but now maybe I need to consider something more efficent.
AMD had some bugs with idle power draw when RDNA 4 came out but it seems mostly fixed (some people still have issues, like certain Linux configs or combinations of high refresh monitors without VRR on).

The agreed best AIBs are PowerColor, Sapphire and XFX.
