I got this deal yesterday before I saw this post - it's a great deal. Also, pick up the 24-pack of Energizer lithium batteries for $36 while you still can.

Good point about the batteries but that deal seems to come and go often.

If you really want to save money, start using tenevolt lithium rechargables.

subscription required for basic functionality is more like it. without a subscription the experience is reaaaallly crap.

you need a usb dongle in the sync module, and you can only view the clips that are saved there. sounds like no big deal, right? except blink actively makes their app EXTREMELY buggy and cumbersome for those type of clips. notifications are basic, with no info, no previews. and when you click on the notification it doesnt take you to the clip, or even the list of the clips, it takes you to the cloud clips(and tells you there are no cloud clips), and then you click on a drop down and then you select local clips, and then you have this long list without previews. then when you click on the clip there are very very long load times. and if your sync module doesnt have great connectivity(i have one that is out by my garage where my wifi barely reaches), it will fail to load 4/5 times.

save yourself the headache and only get these if you are ok with $120/year subscription. otherwise, find something else. without a subscription, these are junk.

I've heard a lot of complaints about the latest version of Blink 2k cameras. To avoid any hassle, I opted for the Outdoor 4 versions instead. These cameras are not only stable but also support extended range with the XR sync module.
