Note about the horizontal crease across the screen mentioned in user reviews: According to Samsung and online reviewers, it goes away after a day or two. I'll try to confirm once I receive my order and apply the film.

The main reason to go with this instead of tempered glass is for better fingerprint sensor functionality. I don't know how I put up with tempered glass on my S23 for 3 years; it rarely ever worked the first, or even second try. I'll forgo the better impact protection if it solves that problem.

I have used the one on the S25 Ultra and can confirm the crease in the middle does go away after a couple of days. I wonder if these ones fit the S25 ultra too. Since they are not as good with scratches as the tempered glass I find I need to replace them a bit earlier than the glass. Then again, the glass ones I've tried so far usually loose the oleophobic coating relatively quick.

Thanks, been wanting to try these since it is anti-reflective. I like the glass ones but it reflects so much light.

I can confirm that the crease goes away. I purchased a S26 Ultra a few weeks ago and had gotten the same screen protector.

That said, the S26 Ultra is unavailable/sold out

The anti-reflective coating works pretty good. The only downside is that it scratches a lot easier than the glass ones.

This sucks. I got it with my Ultra 26 from day one. Horizontal crease goes away in a day or two. that is not a problem. the problem is, the coating of this film peels off in a couple of weeks and make a "anti"-reflecting film a super random reflecting film. Trust me, and go with something else.

I can confirm it does go away after 24hrs. I used it on the s26 ultra and its great so far

Amfilm tempered glass works great for me. Cheap. No issues with fingerprints just re-register after installing and turn on extra screen sensitivity. Works flawlessly!

I second this. I bought the Amfilm OneTouch before this deal went live. I decided to try it before applying the Samsung because I prefer the feel and protection of tempered glass. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the fingerprint sensor issues I experienced with my S23 are gone. It works near flawlessly. I enabled touch sensitivity in settings, registered my fingerprints after the installation, and scanned them again after selecting "improve accuracy".

My only complaint is that while the OneTouch system ensures a perfect alignment of the screen protector, it has a drawback in that it's not possible to see if any dust clinged to the screen before pressing down and committing to the application. In my case, even in a bathroom full of steam with no particles on the phone's display before placing the applicator/frame on it, some specs of dust were sucked under just as the protector was adhering. They were probably from the applicator itself. For this situation, the official instructional video tells us to lift up the corner of the protector and remove the dust with the included stickers. I did this carefully and it worked, but it also caused the corner to no longer adhere correctly. Applying protectors by hand has the advantage of being able ensure that nothing got onto the display up until the very last moment. However, alignment is a challenge with that method.
