I almost tried this but the French roast was $15. Neither is really front page material but better than the normal nearly $1/oz. price.

This is soooooo much better than French roast imo. This one is harder to get and less likely to go on sale too. This is honestly my #1 favorite coffee bean. The only place I've even been able to find it to buy is at the actual Starbucks brick and mortar for ~$16lb.

Same, agreed. It goes on sale at my local BJs but only the pre-ground variety rather than whole beans. The fact that this is whole bean makes it a deal for me since this is my favorite Starbucks bean.

As Einstein used to say "taste is in the tongue of the drinker", but I like French Roast Starbucks a lot. Strong and burnt as it may be. But imo it's good/it works. I will give the blonde 👱 a chance someday. Thanks.

lighter roasts tend to be more flexible and have more unique taste vs the one n done dark roast

How much damage is done to the beans when this is shipped in 100 degree+ heat?

My favorite bean for my cold brew. I've scoured forums looking for rec's on similar and cheaper but haven't found it yet. I just yesterday bought 2x 16 oz bags for $27 plus tax at Starbucks. I get 37 reward points with it.

For this my option is $19, a better deal.

Hmmm I also see this for $14 per lb at my local Sbux. Maybe I'll grab a bag or two to try it out

These are likely two months past roast date by the time you get them, so they're dead anyway (for espresso purposes)
