like the concept, bummer that it can only charge AAA (or AA), but not a mix of both... will have to pass

Thanks for the heads up. I thought it was cool but too pricey, might have jumped at this price for the convenience, but this kind of kills that

the first generation is very tricky. it often marks good batteries as bad. if battery is very low it just assumes it is bad. most "bad" rechargeable batteries can be revived with enough tickle charging. i have a dedicated charger that actually revived almost all batteries that were marked dead even with 10 passes.

Even $60 seems too expensive for this thing. Like $30 is doable

Spoiler - You wont use this as much as you think... These products are no longer as viable in this age of built in batteries. Owner of the Ostation Pro

Thanks! I just checked it out and it's over $120. At that price point; no seeing the value

Good deal. The device is pretty cool but probably overkill for most households. Businesses however this is is a great idea

I've got the ostation pro too and I kinda find the opposite but honestly though, the charging has proven to be the least interesting aspect... Automated battery testing and just generally serving as a centralized battery receptacle that functions as a dispenser has proven to be a much more impactful change.

With that said, I'd never buy a version that could only handle one type of battery, being able to handle AA/AAA is a minimum requirement. Full price on any of the Ostations is also overpriced and would't plan to expect much from the app/integrations, super lackluster.
