Descent camera...it gets the job done. My issue was the adhesive. Once under the sun, it would not hold. I would have loved the option of adhesive or a suction cup. I returned it after about a month

I bought and it comes with a 32gb micro SD card that I upgraded to 512gb for about the same price as the dashcam. Setup was a PAIN IN THE A$$. Kept getting the failed to connect WiFi message. Focus on app to dashcam setup in your AC home instead of the car. Just plug it into USB-C, download the app, turn OFF CARPLAY/Android Auto (iOS settings/general/carplay as just having the settings on messes with it). If you get the dreaded can't connect grab a paper clip and use the reset button next to the microsd port. The Type S app doesn't list the T402 model so you need to select the AI series dashcam. In the WiFi settings, you may need to turn off autoconnect for the dashcam and manually connect to keep things simple. Once connected (apple, google or guest) you'll get prompted for a firmware update. After all that you can then play with the dash cam's FIVE buttons. Button #2 long press toggles camera recording. Button #5 short press toggles the microphone. Long hold button #5 turns off unit. These units really should come in white to deal with all the car heat.

I don't own this but I have a DJI action cam device and a fujifilm camera and for both of them I have to turn off cellular data to get it to connect to those devices. I wonder if it's the same here.
