My Kobalt air blower blows these out. Keep your receipt and do the RMA online before bringing it back to Lowes. They do a refund rather than a warranty exchange so keep a few on hand.

Of all the batteries I have for my 24v products, the ultimate output battery is the only one I have that overheats and has to cool down. I've never had one of the extended run 2, 4, or 5ah batteries overheat on me. Ever. Even running the same tool. On a small blower I will say it does provide marginally better results and I won't pretend to understand how it works, but I don't think the small boost in power you get is worth the potential hassle of having to return one of these. I'm not sorry I have it because it works well enough for the most part, but I wouldn't buy another. I use it mostly for the circular saw because it only gets used in short spans of time.

I wish Lowe's would put a 2 pack of the 2ah batteries in a bundle and put it on sale. I don't always need a 4ah battery and I have probably 8 of them.

In my experience, these batteries are inferior to the standard batteries. They do not work in my grinder and they do not last as long in my tools.
