I've been in the market for a couple of months and this is the first time I've seen it off the $229 is been at for a bit. I haven't seen any aftermarket batteries using tabless cells yet, so the two 4ah batteries definitely seem more reasonably valued than they've been in a lot of past kits.

And of course I bought this a couple weeks ago at $229 after patiently waiting for a better deal to pop up. Oh well, love the drill.

The 2 4ah batteries make this a decent deal, but not having the hammer function makes it a hard pass.

I was fired up about the 801 when it came out and bought one. The antirotation sounded great. After the first time I tried to drill holes in steel I was extremely frustrated. The AR was doing what it is supposed to do but man it is sensitive. I have now bought an 800. If you like the AR this is a good deal with the batteries.
