FBI has to be one of the worst shows on TV and that's really saying something considering how bad most tv shows are. Season 8 of FBI is especially bad. For me, it's because of Eva. She's the worst agent they've had. She so boring. I'll even take Maggie over Eva. I can't say that I like any of the characters on FBI but Eva is so bad that I can't watch any episode that she's in. She was such a mistake. The first agent they got after Tiffany left was ok but she was only there for an episode or two. The agent who followed her was ok, too, but they killed her off. I have no idea why they settled on Eva...

I think you get too wrapped up in the specific characters. I just watched the last episode and enjoyed it, but then I go into most tv shows not expecting too much and often let it just be background entertainment.

Every show is the same thing. The agents track down the suspects, yell out FBI when they're too far away, the subjects take off, and the female agents are like Wonder Woman and always chase the guys down and beat them up. Now, if the female agents were like Ronda Rousey then I could believe it but I don't see Eva or Maggie as Olympic sprinters and MMA specialists. OA could be but he loses a lot of fights and the women are faster than he is. It's pretty funny actually...

The fire looked like it was out this morning but it kicked back up at around 10 due to high winds. My area is not being evacuated. I'm 2 miles away from the evacuation zone. The buses are still running so I'm going to try to go to the hospital tomorrow.

OMG, ALL the police tv shows yell out when they're too far away! That is so funny/stupid to me. And then, even if there's five of them, they're all on the same side of the subject. I just hope police, in real life, wait until they are closer to the subject and if there's multiple of them that they come at the subject from different directions.

Another thing that bugs me about FBI is when the criminal is about to unleash a biological drug that will wipe out half of New York, the FBI agents are more concerned about the criminal's rights and back off but in the next episode they'll make up an excuse to bust into somebody's house without a warrant.

I watched the final episode of Season 8. I think it was Episode 22 on Paramount Plus. It had an interesting ending which was tipped off by a conversation that Castillo had with her new boss in a previous episode. I feel like I was set-up because they left out info that I should've had and the ending shouldn't have been a surprise. Each episode is told from the point of view of the agents but the show didn't let the audience in on a secret plan that the agents had. Maybe I'm overthinking it but to me it's weak writing.

I'm off to the hospital this morning. The fire is still going and hopefully I'll have a home to come back to. I'm not worried. The fire is under control but the high winds keep on kicking it back up. There are lots of fires in my general area. I counted 12 in SoCal. I was going to say when it rains it pours but that wouldn't make any sense lol.

I have an interesting offer at Vons. I have a $40 off of $75 coupon on an in-stope p/u and Pepsi 12-packs are $4.77 (limit 10) with a $3/4 dq. Hmm, I may have to do this if I can figure out what else to get for around $30. I haven't ever done an in-store p/u order at Vons. Do dq's count against the $75?

I have an hour to kill before I have to walk to the bus stop so I looked online for the best shows on network tv. The ones mentioned with my reactions to them are:

1. Will Trent - I haven't watched it but the summary didn't interest me very much. Maybe I'm missing something?

2. Ghosts - I saw an episode but I wasn't thrilled with the cast. The story was ok.

3. High Potential - it was good for a few episodes but then I got bored.

4. Matlock - I enjoyed the first season but I probably won't watch the 2nd season. I don't know what else they can do.

5. Abbott Elementary - fantastic but I only saw a few episodes. I'll have to go back to it.

6. The Rookie - it's not horrible but it doesn't do much for me.

7. Tracker - there was something that I didn't like about it but I don't remember what it was.

8. Chicago Med - I've never liked it but I read that the last season was really good.

9. Chicago Fire - I enjoy it but I'm not regular viewer.

10. Chicago PD - I like this one.

11. St Denis - I've wanted to give it a try but I'm more into serious medical shows than comedies. If it's anything like Superstore, I'd really enjoy it. Superstore is a hidden gem.

12. Law and Order - it's good most of the time but I'm burned out on it.

13. SVU - the quality has gone down so much but I'll still watch it.

I liked the twist. It caught me off guard, but then some things from a couple of the prior episodes came back to me and I wondered if I should have caught them. I thought it made perfect sense. I'm excited to see what they do with the story line.

I hope your hospital visit goes well and the fire department gets the fire under control quickly.

Hubs and I watch 6 and 7 together and enjoy them. I watch all of the others on my own except 2, 5 and 11. I don't like tv shows that have laugh tracks much anymore. I am behind on most of the ones I watch on my own because of a couple of out of town trips recently.

These are the ones I watched:

1- Will Trent. The main character is interesting. I enjoy the other characters too and their back stories. A few familiar faces from other shows and movies. Based from books. I have one of the books, can't wait to read it to see how it is.

3 - High Potential - I like how they solve the crimes but she can be annoying. I enjoyed seeing her family dynamics change.

4 - Matlock - They get interesting cases in season 2 and they do solve the main issue.

6 - The Rookie - the situations they get into are a little intense, silly and crazy but I like the characters and their side stories. Don't like how they got rid of a few characters. And Nathan Fillion, meow

8 - Chicago Med - Have watched since it started. I enjoy medical shows and I like the characters and their dramas. Kind of silly how co workers get into relationships with each other but I guess that's tv, and reality for some people.

11 - St. Denis - I like because it is, like you mentioned, like Superstore. That's because St. Denis is co-created by the guy who created Superstore. Plus, the main character in St. Denis is the mom from The Goldbers. I like her as an actress. Oh, and the actress that plays Val on St. Denis is Sandra from Superstore. Bruce is the pharmacist from Superstore. Mateo from Superstore is also in St. Denis.

I also like Happy's Place (some of the actors from the Reba show) and Elsbeth - she was also on The Good Wife and plays the same character here.

Watson is interesting because their cases are so unique. I know that the Watson and Sherlock names are kind of dumb but I got hooked.

RJ Decker has Scott Speedman who I like (from Felicity and movies).

Brilliant Minds is a good serious medical show. He has been in other movies; was Spock in a Star Trek movie.

I tried Ghosts but didn't like it. It didn't make any sense to me and I didn't like the characters. I don't like shows that are too silly.

Yikes, looks like I watch a lot of tv. It's my morning routine to watch something while I drink coffee, eat breakfast, check emails, etc.

This is filmed here, some of it just outside of our neighborhood. I keep trying to convince husband to watch.

That's cool! I would totally watch something that was filmed by my house but you guys are probably used to it I suppose...
