I just now went into a B&M store and tried to get this deal, they had these in clearance table for $105, store manager would not price match the website, and said online and B&M are completely different platforms. Even though I said I literally bought one of these online and watched the driver grab this item from the store and deliver for me, they wouldn't sell me a $53 item. I guess you need to order online, make HD pay some shipping company a fee, to deliver it for you. A VERY silly system they have, costing HD even more money than necessary when I was willing to grab them in-store, but no go.
I will be buying a 2nd of these batteries online and having it delivered, again.

It's a totally ridiculous system, but their systems also allow for hackable deals so maybe it's still good overal

I just bought into the Sewalt system with a 4 tool set which came with two 2ah batteries. I am looking for another battery(s) to make the use of both drill/drivers one job and have charged back up battery available. what's the next smart purchase? a standcalone battery with higher ah? another tool with an included battery (circular saw @$199)? I also read on another thread that $10 per ah is a good deal (this is nowhere near thst cost). Is powerstack different from other batteries?

I mean there are a LOT of factors of answering your question, that only you can know.
What type of tools, how often are you using them, like are you using a sawzall for hours a day? are you only doing drilling work for a total of 30 minutes of drill run time a day? Then yes a larger AH (amp hour) battery will last longer than the 2AH that came with your set.
The powerstacks are compact little buggers, and come in either a 1.7ah (this deal) or a larger 5ah battery. A power saw will need a bigger battery pack, as a 2ah or this 1.7ah battery wont last long in that tool.
You will need to read up on reddit all sorts of info about battery and tool usage to see what combo you need. But yes, $10 per AH is kinda what most people shoot for, although this powerstack 1.7 is a little different.
I already got one of these deals, to add to my two 2ah that came with my kit, and I am eyeing buying a 2nd of these deals so have four SMALL batteries, as I don't do intensive work with my tools, nor do I use them all day every day

You could order online and do an instore pickup directly to that store and wait for them to fill it lol.

But yea, I've had the same issue where they won't price match online prices to instore items that you are going to buy at the cash register

I saw these last week at one store for the $105 price and then the next day saw them in a different store for the $75 price. When I was in the store this morning I scanned one with the app it came up for $53. I of course got to the register and it rang up $75. So I showed the people working the self check out and they both scanned it with their store device and then their phone and then marked them down for me.

I was talking to store manager about doing this, and it sounds like, and I just verified myself now, that there is no option to pay in store. You need to pay online before they will get it ready for you in store.
I know, its completely silly, as my HD had like FIVE of these units on their clearance table up front for $105, and I said "I can buy one right now for $53, can't I just buy it and grab this one instead of making a dude drive it to my home?" and manager said nope, online and in-store are 2 different "places" and not really one (like you would assume).
So its either buy online, or pay in store and use a $5 coupon for newsletter, but you can't do both. Manager said "thats why it works this way, so you can't double dip on deals"

Yup, I had the same issue with an instore coupon. It was either buy online for $200 or buy in store for $250 and then use my instore coupon to get it down another $15.
