Great little sander, not a great price. Last time this was on sale at Lowe's, it was $79. I even scored a free battery/charger kit with it.

It is a decent price These days. If you were looking for one now to get a job done , don't feel you are getting screwed over. But if you wait you can get these on sale a couple times a year, sometimes with the kit. They usually will sell out at those times. Either way this is in my opinion the best cordless sander for the money and I would buy it at this price if I needed it.

Yeah, Bosch hit gold with this sander. (I wish the 12v version wasn't complete garbage ... to which Bosch agrees, lol.)

I've been through dozens of sanders, and this is definitely my fav electric sander under $220.

I'd say no due to the airflow design that naturally pulls the air into the machine, through the pad, and helps keep it cool. If you block that airflow, it loses some functionality, and can overheat. So if you have a polish pad, it will not get the airflow.
