They've been dropping the prices on the more expensive older models like these, since they've now come out with smaller, much cheaper models. The Go Air buds have almost as much battery life at only $30 (when they're not on sale!) The Go Air pops have even more battery life and a much smaller case for only $20 (again, when they're not on sale.) The Go Air pops were on sale for $12 at Best Buy on Black Friday

Personally, I prefer the ones that also wrap around your ears, because normal buds usually fall out for me. The new Go Air Sport buds have a bigger battery life and are only $30. If you're going with the in-ear-only buds, you might want the memory foam "cloud foam" tips, since I find that they shape to the ear and stay in better. They don't come with the cheaper newer models, but you can get a pack of 4 pairs in different sizes for like $10 on either Amazon's own site, or Jlab's.

While I love the design of the case, with the charger cord built-in, I've found that they're not that sturdy. I've already had two cases die on me over the past two years on the older Air Sport model, because they case would no longer charge (I'm guessing the cord connections came loose.) They replaced the first one since it was under warrantee. Hopefully, they've improved the durability with the new models. But still at $30 (or cheaper on sale), they're affordable and practically disposable ear buds.
