Did the rejection happen before submission on barcode scan or after submission? If after submission did they say why? I am curious because I submitted on my husbands iphone and still waiting for approval

Yes, the only way to add a card is via the app. They do have a "contact us" help feature on the website so maybe if you message them and explain the situation about not having a cell they'll be able to add it for you on their end. Worth a try!
I never even saw the "Contact Us" link--and I looked for something like that. Guess I'll have to look again. I think I understand what you are saying--I could give them my card #s over the internet or phone and then I'd be signed up? It seems like a good program, although I also read about problems with purchases not being credited, etc. Might be more trouble than it's worth because if it isn't automatic with card swipe, I have no other way to get credit.

On another topic: Speaking of new management at some SRs which has been mentioned here, it turns out my SR is up for sale. This family only has the one store, and everyone is freaking out and wondering what will happen. Sale probably won't be for six months or so, but probably not going to be on the plus side for anyone. My latest info is that there are currently three bidders interested.

Go here [ibotta.com], login and then click on submit a request (top right corner). That should enable you to start a support ticket.

... but you won't have a way to activate offers, which also now requires the app. I used to be able to activate offers through the web site, but that ability was removed a while ago. After logging in, it won't even let me search for offers.

Thanks for this. Just checked. turns out I have been receiving the same 3 ecoupons, for the products I never buy, for the past 4 weeks.
I am pretty sure that every weekly email changes to the same q.

My 4/5 email had a candy Q when I looked on 4/7. Couldn't get it to load. When I looked at the 4/5 email on 4/9 it had new Qs.

Hi
Doesn't Inserra still own your Shop Rite? They own many stores in the area.
Maybe I'm thinking of a different location than the one you go to.

No--Inserra does own Ramsey, but not Oakland. I think they may be one of the bidders for the Oakland location, but that's just a guess. They also just opened a brand new store in Wyckoff (right next to a Stop & Shop--who fought like hell to keep them out for years), And Inserra has some stores in Rockland County, NY as well that are sort of nearby. There's a SR moving in Wayne, but I don't know if that's owned by Inserra or not.

More info from LRWC:

We have an update on how the no stacking will be handled at the register when you already have a digital coupon loaded to your card.

1. If a customer has a digital loaded to their card and a paper coupon for the same item, the register will apply the one with the higher value after any doubling.
2. If a digital has been applied, and then a higher value paper coupon is scanned, the paper coupon will be applied and the digital coupon will be reversed and put back on the customer's Price Plus card. This is supposed to happen immediately.
3. If the digital that has been applied has a higher value than the paper coupon, the paper coupon will beep and a "coupon does not match" code will pop up. This will alert the cashier to look for a digital coupon for that item. If a higher value digital has already been applied, the paper coupon will be returned to the customer.
4. In the case of a "tie" with both coupons having the same value, the digital coupon will be applied. The system will not look at expiration dates when considering which coupon to apply, only value.

Store signage and bag stuffer inserts explaining the new no stacking coupon policy is suppose to start next week.

thank you for this.

not directed at Tazzia but we all know how well SR programs their systems. I am "sure" it will work just as advertised.

I have a feeling shopping at SR as a couponer is about to become way more time consuming and frustrating than ever come May5th

It's been way more time consuming for the past few weeks since they've been looking for overages. Most cashiers don't know what price to make the coupons. Some hold up the line for several minutes for a penny. (Sometimes doing the math wrong and lowering the coupon scan price even though the item wasn't close to free in the first place)

At my NYC SR the process has become more intensive over the last few months but no where as harsh as some others have mentioned in other SR's but surely once this new policy begins problems galore are going to be the norm unless SR really spends the time on ensuring the IT functions properly and all cashiers/attendants have real training in how the policy works and how to apply it to purchases made along with some real customer service oriented attitudes because from where I stand their attitudes towards couponers in general need adjustment

I hope people read up on the rules and do the math PRIOR to their shopping trips to calculate whether the digital or paper coupon is better, or else they're just going to be holding up lines with additional beeps should the digital coupon be the higher value. Please don't be that person trying to double dip with a stack of coupons, holding up lines at the expense of the time of other people, knowing full well that the double dip days are over.
